Deeper Dating is a dating event for quality single men trying to live their lives based on deeper values such as personal growth, spirituality, building family and community and/or recovery. Since it began, it has grown dramatically, spread to other
cities and populations, and most importantly, helped birth many wonderful relationships.
Time Out New York calls it “the new-craze dating event ... a combination
personal-growth workshop and singles mixer.”
The event will be led by John Salvato.
John Salvato, a master teacher. has years of experience facilitating workshops on diversity, and human relations to educators. He has written curriculum that is inclusive of gay positive lessons and continues to be an advocate for eliminating homophobia in schools. John has created a workshop for the gay community called Sports for Fairies that, in a playful, a non- threatening way explores feeling and memories of dreaded gym classes. Everybody becomes first on the team. John also has been the New York coordinator for Body Electric for the last 8 years.

What Happens at a Deeper Dating Event?
Deeper Dating was founded by Ken Page, LCSW. After a brief meditation you'll engage in a series of fun and enriching exercises that will enable you to meet a larger number of other men, and share with them in more personal ways. Built into the evening will be the opportunity to exchange phone numbers with potential matches.
